Kurt Boone Solo Exhibition: "SILENCE OF PANDEMIC"

Beginning July 30th, NYC-based photographer Kurt Boone will be exhibiting some of his street photography work centered on the Covid-19 pandemic in a solo exhibition at Village Works NYC.

Twenty of Boone’s photographs will be on display at Village Works Gallery & Bookstore (90 East 3rd Street) from July 30th to August 26th, 2021. There will also be an opening reception on July 30th from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Kurt Boone Documents the George Floyd Memorial Foundation’s Inaugural Remembrance: Peaceful Rally and March

During the month of May, NYC-based photographer Kurt Boone attended and documented the George Floyd Memorial Foundation’s Inaugural Remembrance: Peaceful Rally and March in Downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. The memorial event included speakers Reverend Al Sharpton, the founder of the National Action Network, Bridgett Floyd, George Floyd’s sister and founder of the George Floyd Memorial Foundation, and Benjamin Crump, a civil rights attorney and the head of the Floyd family’s legal team.
